DEMGY designs and manufactures aircraft class dividers, curtain systems and cabin partitions for major civil and military platforms, supporting Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Tier-1 integrators and airline operators. Composite dividers are manufactured at DEMGY EIS (Euskirchen, Germany), with the group's dual-source EU / North America capability (DEMGY Pacific, USA) covering related plastic and metallic hardware and North American program support — reducing single-source risk on long-running cabin programs.

Moveable class dividers (MCD)

Movable class dividers offer maximum cabin-layout flexibility. With several predefined positions, the crew can reconfigure the separation between two travel classes just before takeoff. The system suits aircraft such as the A320neo, A320 Enhanced, B737 NG & MAX and Embraer E2.

Made from composite materials, these dividers combine robustness, light weight and performance. Optimized weight reduces fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions while keeping the divider easy to handle on board. Three design options are available — semi-transparent curtain with leather frame, smooth or pleated curtain on a rail, or rigid panel — with full customization of materials, colors, patterns and branding (logos, signage).

Fixed Class Dividers

Designed for cabins with a stable configuration, fixed class dividers ensure a clear separation between two areas while blending into the interior design. They are found on aircraft such as the A330, A350, A380, B787, B737 and Embraer E2, typically between economy and premium economy. Also composite-made, they share the same finishes as the movable versions (framed curtain, curtain on rail or panel), with complete customization of finishes, textures and graphic integration.

Curtain Systems

Curtain systems provide area and class partitions. The group includes curtain headers, curtain rails and close-out panels that fit snugly to the cabin ceiling. Geometries and contours are highly customer-specific, and electrical components such as signs can be integrated. Structures use the patented Schalen shell design or honeycomb construction depending on the targeted optimization (A330, A340, A380).

Curtain Crew Rest Compartments

A curtain partition creating a rest area for cockpit and cabin crew in economy or business class. The curtain solution can be removed when not needed on short-haul flights. The structure is built in the patented, IP-protected Schalen shell design for a weight-optimized product, with a view- and light-tight design and a cabin-sound-absorbing curtain (A330, A320, B737, B777). Relevant to A320 crew rest area configurations.

Curtains

Curtains are developed to specification, with options including fabric-leather combinations, noise-attenuating weaves, magnetic solutions, sewn pleats, damped folds and metallic applications (cross programs, executive jets).

Partitions / Windscreens

Straight or folded partitions for both line-fit and aftermarket. Beyond standard equipment provisions, large transparent panels can be integrated, with illumination, shading and logos as options (A330, A320).
