The Reborn shoe is much more than just a fashion statement. It embodies a radically different approach to footwear manufacturing, with an emphasis on sustainability and environmental responsibility. This innovative shoe combines a sock designed by Lonati Group with an outsole produced from plastic waste.

Reborn Project
The DEMGY Group's thermocompression press transforms this waste into a TPU outsole, composed of 70% recycled TPU from post-industrial and post-consumer waste. This process highlights DEMGY Group's expertise in polymer and composite processing, while reducing the footwear industry's carbon footprint. At the heart of the Reborn project is a deep commitment to eco-design. Right from the design phase, DEMGY Group integrates the end-of-life of products, promoting a holistic approach to sustainability. By rethinking the life cycle of footwear, DEMGY Group aims to reduce environmental impact while guaranteeing high-quality, high-performance products.

Thanks to an innovative manufacturing process, the shoes incorporate recycled materials while offering exceptional quality and performance. What's more, the glue-free design allows easy disassembly, facilitating component recycling and contributing to the creation of a circular economy.
