In a recent interview published in Biz Magazine, Romania's leading business magazine, Teodora Țarog, Managing Director of DEMGY Făgăraș, discussed the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability. DEMGY Group, among the world's leading manufacturers of plastic components for the aerospace, automotive and medical industries, has introduced a unique offering called Multiplasturgy® circular. This initiative brings together 15 areas of expertise to offer sustainable, high-performance solutions while striving to reduce the carbon footprint.
Teodora Țarog emphasized the importance of eco-design and manufacturing processes in reducing environmental impact. One concrete example presented was a structural support for a car engine, where the use of technical polymers reduced weight by more than 40% compared to a traditional aluminum solution, while maintaining mechanical strength. DEMGY is also implementing systems for the recovery and reuse of plastic waste, using highly energy-efficient equipment and renewable energy sources.
