Normandie AeroEspace (NAE) organized a large-scale event at the Paris Air Show to raise awareness of the aerospace industry among secondary school students in Normandy. Thanks to a partnership between NAE and GIFAS, 1,500 young people attended the show on June 23. To make it easier for the students to get around, NAE organized 30 buses, financed thanks to the support of several companies, including DEMGY.

The Paris Air Show is a unique opportunity for visitors to meet professionals from the aerospace industry. NAE dedicated the day of June 23 to 4th and 3rd graders, as well as to students taking the BIA (Brevet d'Initiation Aéronautique). The aim was to enable young people to discover the jobs and schools in the sector, explore technological innovations thanks to the Paris Air Mobility and understand the challenges of decarbonation with the Paris Air Lab.

On stand DE-76 of the NAE Pavilion, young people from Normandy had the opportunity to discover the technological innovations developed by Normandy players to contribute to the decarbonation of aviation. DEMOTECH, a DEMGY initiative, presented technological demonstrators highlighting the advances made by Normandy companies in this field. The 46 exhibiting companies were also able to introduce young visitors to the various professions and career opportunities in the aeronautical sector in Normandy.
