DEMGY Normandie awarded AeroExcellence™ bronze certification
A major step towards industrial excellence
DEMGY Normandy has been awarded BRONZE level status in the AeroExcellence™ program, the international performance benchmark for major aerospace contractors.
This recognition is a tribute to the industrial maturity, operational rigor, and collective commitment of the teams at our Normandy site.
AeroExcellence™, a global standard in the making
AeroExcellence™ is an international initiative supported by GIFAS in France and operated by SPACE Aero. It assesses the reliability and performance of aerospace, defense, and space sites with the aim of strengthening the robustness of the global supply chain.
The program is based on five key pillars: organization, logistics, supplier management, industrialization and quality, and production. It aims to become a global standard thanks to the association between GIFAS, BDLI, and the ADS Group.
A demanding assessment, passed with flying colors
For several weeks, the teams at DEMGY Normandie worked hand in hand to prepare for the various stages: self-assessment, remote assessment, then a final two-and-a-half-day on-site assessment. The assessors praised the exemplary preparation, solid mastery of processes, and a site focused on continuous improvement.

All of the site's functions—production, maintenance, logistics, methods, quality, IT, and management control—contributed to this success. This distinction is also based on the group's initiatives: cybersecurity with the AIR CYBER Silver qualification, the 2030/2050 decarbonization plan, and mastery of the digital ecosystem via the DEMGY Manufacturing System (DMS).
